They asked if I would like to pick another set to review and giveaway. JDaniel poured over their catalog for hours trying to decide which set to get. Ultimately he ended up overwhelmed by the choices and asked me to pick out the set for him. I selected the Coral Reef Toob. We have been reading a lot of book about the ocean lately.
When we got it, he took it upstairs and started playing with it in the sink right away. He has also used the sea creatures, diver, and coral in both wet and dry sensory bins. The dry one was so easy to play with and to clean up. I just put a dish towel in a plastic container. The wet sensory bin is just colored water in a plastic tub. It was equally as easy to clean up, but water did escape from the tub a little.
The very best thing about them it that they encourage pretend play. I love to listen to JDaniel play with them. The stories he makes up change every time and are all filled with action. (Pretend play is so important for children. )
We were recently at A.C. Moore and JDaniel found a Safari Ltd. display. He has already started to decide which of those sets he is hoping to get for his birthday. If you explored their site, I think you would have trouble deciding which set you would like to have too.
How? The giveaway information is listed below.
