For My Children ~Gift Book Giveaway

For My Children

For My Children is amazing Mother’s Day gift for yourself or for a mother figure in your life. This book is a wonderful place to record memories.

It contains fill in the blank sections and questions like:

What is some of the craziest parenting advice you ever received?

What have been your favorite parts of being a mother?

What are (or were) your favorite family recipes?

In what ways are your children like you?

If life had a rewind button, what moments would you want to relive?

I bought a similar book for my grandmother to fill out for me shortly before she died and it has become one of my most treasured possessions.

I can’t tell you how many times I have gone back and read the thoughts and memories she recorded in her own handwriting. Some how it makes me feel closer to her when I read through it.

When she was living I used to visit her a lot and could listen to her retell stories and memories for hours, my book helps me to hear the stories retold that she can no longer share with me.

You would probably love to do the same thing for your children or grandchildren. You may have someone you would love to have fill out a book for you.

I have been given the opportunity to give a copy of For My Children away. If you are interested in just purchasing it on your own, you can purchase it on Amazon.com by clicking on For My Children right here.

How can you win a copy of For My Children?

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Disclaimer: I am not being paid nor am I receiving anything for this giveaway. I just thought  you would like the book.

  1. I have lots of great memories of my mom. My favorite is when I asked her when she started to feel grown up and she said, "I'll let you know when that happens." She had just discovered she would be a grandmother for the first time, and I was expecting her to say she felt old already.

  2. My favorite memory of my mom is when she would take my brother and I horseback riding with her through the woods and down dirt roads. Those were fun, and relaxing times I cherish.

  3. I think one of my favorite memories of my Mom...is when we shared pizza and a beer once- the reason being I do not usually drink beer ...but she does sometimes- and so we had this time together that was so completely ordinary yet truly unique. We both giggled about it during and after. I now- unconventional but true! Enter me!

  4. I enjoyed helping my mom in the kitchen making pies, canning fruits and vegetables. She was an awesome cook. I also helped her make doll clothes. She would sew them, I would do all of the rest - selecting the pattern and fabric, pinning the pattern, cutting it out, getting it ready for sale.

  5. My favorite memory is from when I was little: the room is dark, only the desk lamp is on, my mom is knitting and I'm playing with my toys on the floor right next to her. Total peace and serenity.

  7. I liked folding clothes with my mom. She was really good at it, and I was horrible, but she was patient in teaching me how.

  23. My mother passed away last year at the age of 53 and I have millions of wonderful memories of her. One of my favorite memories was when she would tuck me in for bed and then go into the living room to practice piano. I would fall asleep to the sounds of Beethoven, Debussy, and Chopin. :)
