Set of Alphabet Magnets from Bettina's Bobbin Giveaway

I came across the coolest alphabet magnets while wandering around Bettina’s Bobbin Shop on Etsy. I love that they have the upper and lower case letters on them. The pictures on each magnet are really cute too.

Here is how Bettina describes her magnet set:

The set includes 26 magnets - one for each letter of the alphabet. As you can see on the photos, each magnet shows the upper and lower case letter as well as a picture of an item that begins with that letter. Each magnet measures 2 1/4 inch (5.7 cm) in diameter, and is printed on an inkjet printer and hand pressed into a durable button. I then attach a 1 7/8 inch (4.8 cm) magnet to the back (see last picture) - so there is absolutely no choking hazard!

Ways to Use Them

There are so many ways to use the magnetic letters in this giveaway. You could have your child hang pictures under the magnet with that letter. They could be arranged in a,b,c order on a cookie sheet. Making words on the refrigerator would be fun. They could be placed in a bag, pulled out one by one, be identified and then end up on the refrigerator. Identifying the picture on each magnetic and sorting them based on things they have in common would work too.

Before I tell you how to win a set, let me have the artist tell you about herself:

I am originally from Germany, but moved to the United States almost 20 years ago. For the past five years I have been a stay-at-home-mom, and enjoy spending time with my four children. Since I sometimes do miss the feeling of accomplishment that my old job as a designer gave me (just when I think I am caught up on the laundry, the baskets are already full again...) I decided to turn my hobby into a business and sell my creations on Etsy. I hope you enjoy my shop!

Would you like to win a set?

Here’s how:

  13. You could put the magnets around the house on things that are magnetic and go on a letter hunt. Identify each letter or say its sound or say something that starts with that letter as you find them.
    or
Hide the number magnets and when your child finds one, they have to do that number of jumping jacks or situps etc.
