Seeing Green at the Grocery Store- St. Patrick’s Day Activity

I picked up these paint chips at my local Lowe’s store. I love that they have a window you can use to see an object behind the paint chip and see if it matches. The little window made it a great tool to take to the grocery store and look for green foods. JDaniel loves to have something to do while sitting in the cart. This activity was a lot of fun.

Sometimes I would hand JDaniel the item to test.

Sometimes I would hold the card up to the food and have him tell me if it matched.

We looked like we were having so much fun another mother of a two year old mentioned she would like to try this activity with her child.

Thanks for linking up. This would be a great activity to do with my son. I hate grocery shopping with him & need something to distract him from climbing out of the cart/ grabbing everything off the shelves! The best part is that its easy to make. Thanks again!

You have some great ideas! :) Love the green shades in the second and third picture, that was the shade of my bridesmaid's dresses!

This is a good idea. Little man is still too young for it now though.

Today is St Patrick's day...I still have never had a green beer (and I surely can't this year, lol).
